Our Mission
Contract+ is a legal service operated by members of the Barreau du Québec. Every contract we accept is reviewed by a lawyer. We provide practical, fixed-fee advice that helps you understand your contract before you sign, with no retainers, no long-term commitments, and no hidden fees.
Our service is built for entrepreneurs and small businesses that need a lawyer to read their contract properly, without the cost of a traditional retainer. We review your document, flag the risks, suggest clearer wording, and explain your options in plain language.
We currently accept contracts governed by Quebec law only. If your contract is governed elsewhere, we'll tell you before you pay and point you toward counsel licensed in that jurisdiction.
We advise you. We do not negotiate with the other party on your behalf. Our role is to give you the clarity to make a better business decision.

Every file is handled by a lawyer. You'll be told who is assigned to your mandate when we confirm we can take it.

Before you proceed
• Contract+ provides contract review and advice only. We do not draft new agreements, negotiate with the other party, or provide court or tribunal representation.
• We currently accept contracts governed by Quebec law only.
• A lawyer-client relationship is formed only once we confirm in writing that we accept your mandate. Payment alone does not create a mandate. The mandate is limited to the service purchased.
• Every mandate is subject to a conflict-of-interest check and may be declined. If we decline, we refund you in full and permanently delete the documents you sent.
• The lawyer assigned to your file is identified to you in writing when we confirm acceptance.
